Tehran - Ahmad Norouzi, the head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) World Service, said that the Iran Press News Agency had been a strategic project for IRIB World Service.

Iran PressIran news:  April 25 is the third anniversary of the establishment of Iran Press News Agency as the first international, video-based news agency in Iran.

 Accordingly, Ahmad Norouzi, the head of Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) World Service while visiting the news agency today (Saturday), in an interview, emphasized: The existence of the Iran Press News Agency created a good attraction for different media in the axis of resistance and non-resistance; Therefore, Iran Press News Agency is considered a strategic project in the IRIB World Service.

Norouzi added: "During the past months, efforts have always been made to resolve the issues and problems raised by holding several meetings in order to increase the number of Iran Press users and the indirect audience of this news agency."

The head of IRIB World Service also said in response to a question about the formation of a media bloc of neighboring countries in the region: Hispan TV has recently launched a media link with the same idea for countries that have been subject to economic sanctions under the name of "Sanctions Club," which has been well received. 

And we hope that with more vital practical steps, we can enter the more active media diplomacy phase, Norouzi added.
