Tehran (IP) - Ahmad Norouzi, who had previously worked as a Vice President at Press TV channel, was appointed by IRIB Director Peyman Jebeli as the new deputy head for the Islamic Republic of Iran's Broadcasting World Service.

Iran PressIran news: The appointment took place on Monday, with Dr. Jebelli defining a set of new responsibilities for the position that oversees the IRIB’s foreign-language outlets.
As part of the expanded responsibilities, the head of the World Service has been tasked with further empowering the IRIB branch in terms of efficacy, informative edge, and cultural reach among other things, read the directive appointing Norouzi to the position.
Enhanced in such a manner, the World Service’s outlets are expected to confront adversarial media ploys, disseminate the Islamic Revolution’s discourse, link up Iranian scholars with their peers across the world, and properly represent the Islamic-Iranian lifestyle, art, society, and culture to the international community, the directive added.
Jebelli hoped that Norouzi would manage to properly realize the mission through “optimal deployment of the capacities that are offered by the organization’s committed and revolutionary workforce and [also through] synergistic cooperation with the international and regional media centers and elements.”
Born in 1988, Ahmad Norouzi is a doctoral student studying Media Management at University of Tehran. 
He has been serving various duties over the years, including managing the English-language content and interviews that are published on Khamenei.ir, the official website of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, and heading the Communications, Information, and Media Affairs’ Department of the Headquarters for the Execution of Imam Khomeini's Order.
Most recently, Norouzi used to serve as the advisor to the head of the IRIB World Service, and the Press TV television network’s operations and content manager.
