Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Tuesday that 28 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 140,678.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to April 12, 2022, 7,197,505 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 6,927,042 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 2,737 cases, of whom 378 patients were hospitalized.

1,411 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 50,137,256 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 34 cities are red, 69 are orange, 291 are Yellow and 54 are zones.

So far, 64,116,410 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 57,227,374 have received the second dose, 26,612,163 have received the third dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 147,955,947 doses.
