Yazd (IP) - The governor-general of Iran's Yazd Province welcomed the expansion of trade relations with a focus on tourism with Ghana.

Iran PressIran news: In a meeting with the Ghanaian Ambassador to Iran, Eric Owusu-Boateng on Saturday, the Governor-general of Yazd Mehran Fatemi pointed to the industrial and tourism capacity of Yazd Province and stated that as the largest brick city in the world and the second most historic city in the world as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Yazd has the necessary infrastructure to host foreign tourists.

He announced Yazd's readiness for economic partnership with the provinces of Ghana, adding that Yazd Province is fully prepared to receive Ghanaian business delegations.

Fatemi also pointed out that in the field of health tourism, the necessary grounds are provided and the existing obstacles regarding visas waver will be removed.
