Pres. Raisi:

Tehran (IP) - Expressing regret over yesterday's tragic incident in holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS) in Mashhad, Iran's president said that the loved ones who were martyred and wounded were jihadist, influential, sincere and well-known students in Mashhad and its suburbs.

Iran PressIran News: Three clerics were stabbed by an unknown attacker at the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS) in the northeastern Iranian city of Mashhad; the incident caused the martyrdom of one and wounding of two of the clerics, media reported on April 5.

The assailant was arrested with the help of the police and security agents.

Speaking at a cabinet meeting on Wednesday, Ebrahim Raisi described the students as real servants of the people, especially the deprived in Mashhad, and said: "Those who were hostile were from the Takfiri movement, and the colonialists and hypocrites must not be allowed to abuse ethnic and religious issues to sow discord among Muslims and the people of our country with neighbors because sowing discord is one of the old methods of the colonialists."

Raisi further pointed out to farmers' problems caused by the frost on crops and emphasized: "The groundwork to help farmers should be laid so that they do not get under pressure."

The Iranian president also instructed the Ministry of Agricultural Jihad and the Vice-President for Science and Technology Sorena Sattari to use the capacities of knowledge-based institutions to prevent frostbite of agricultural products by anticipating and preventing it.

Raisi also described the fair distribution of credits in the country's provinces as important and said: "In the payment of credits, justice should be considered."

The Iranian president also considered the preparation of cultural and justice annexes important in decision-making and said: "The Leader of Iran's Islamic Revolution has repeatedly stressed the need to prepare cultural and justice-oriented annexes, and all important decisions and actions of the government should have culture and justice annexes."

Emphasizing the need to pay attention to administrative health in the executive apparatus, Raisi called 'self-control' the most efficient monitoring system and said: "This monitoring method is formed by religious education in the family, educational system and serving God."
