Iran Press/ Iran News: Three clerics were stabbed by an unknown attacker at the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS) in the northeastern Iranian city of Mashhad; the incident caused the martyrdom of one and wounding of two of the clerics, media reported on April 5.
The assailant was arrested with the help of the police and security agents.
"Certainly, this unfortunate incident, which was carried out by one of the deviant elements and influenced by American takfiri groups, has caused more unity and solidarity among those interested in Islam and Iran, and will lead to the disgrace of deviant currents," Ebrahim Raisi stated in a message.
