Iran Press/ Iran News: Holding the Qatar World Cup in 2022 has given Iran a good opportunity to generate income and progress in all cases.
The 22nd round of the FIFA World Cup will be held in Qatar from November 21 to December 18, 2022 . This is the first World Cup to be held in the West Asian region, and according to the results of Iran's national team namely Team Melli, Iranians should wait for their team's participation in these competitions as well.
Iran has different climates, geographical location, rich and diverse culture, ancient rituals,customs, infrastructure, various sports and recreation centers. also it's Kish Island, close distance to Qatar with various sports, recreational and accommodation facilities can host the fans of football during the World Cup.

Aliakbar Safaee told Iran Press on Monday that good agreements were reached during the visit of the Minister of Roads and Urban Development to Qatar's Doha and that the Qatari side stressed the utilization of Iran's Bushehr and Hormozgan provinces' facilities to support the world cup.
Safaee emphasized that the focus of Iran's support for the event is on Kish Island in Hormozgan province and referred to President Raisi's recent telephone conversation with the Emir of Qatar who stressed further interactions with Iran.
Before this in response to the phone call of the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Hamad bin Tamim Al Thani, Iran's President,Ebrahim Raisi congratulated the holy month of Ramadan and further expressed his satisfaction with the holding of the FIFA World Cup in Qatar and wished the country success in holding this important sport event, noting, "The Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to provide any help in Kish Island, southern Iran, in holding the World Cup games in the best and most glorious way possible
