IME weekly report:

Tehran (IP)- Within the week ending on April 1st, 2022, the Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) witnessed a trade of 1,557,170 tonnes of commodities with a total trading value of more than 381 million USD on its physical market.

Iran PressIran News: According to a report by the IME's International Affairs and PR, the exchange-traded on its metals and minerals trading floor 1,2 m. tonnes of commodities valued at more than 161 million USD.

On this floor, the IME's customers purchased 985,404 tonnes of cement, 168,943 tonnes of steel, 58,000 tonnes of sponge iron, 30,000 tonnes of iron ore, 25 tonnes of zinc, and 2,5 thousand tonnes of aluminum.

Furthermore, the IME saw a trade of 3,1 m. tonnes of commodities on domestic and export pits of its oil and petrochemical trading floor valued at more than 216 million USD. The exchange's customers purchased on this floor 85 thousand tonnes of vacuum bottom, 70,775 tonnes of bitumen, 68,217 tonnes of polymeric products, 56,000 tonnes of lube cut, 26,363 tonnes of chemicals, 2,564 tonnes of base oil, 80 tonnes of sulfur and 50 tonnes of argon. Last was the IME's side market, with 2,263 tonnes of commodities traded on it.
