Iran junior beach handball team wins Asian Championship
Iranian junior beach handball team won the Asian Championship after achieving five consecutive victories.
In the last game of the second round of the 2022 Asian Junior Beach Handball Championship, the Iranian team on Monday defeated Pakistan 2-0 and snatched the gold medal.
The Iranian junior handball team had previously defeated Afghanistan, Jordan, Qatar, and India in a row.
The Iranian young handball players also received direct tickets to the 2022 World Championship, held in Greece next June.
Iran's capital Tehran hosted the competition, held from March 22 to 28.
