Iran (IP) - Iran's Police arrested the ringleader of an international human-trafficking gang in the west of the country.

Iran PressIran news: Police Chief of Mariwan city, Kambiz Rostamnia said the gangster was extensively in contact with other members of the gang and trafficked people from the neighboring countries, including Afghanistan and Pakistan inside Iran. 

Rostamnia said the detained leader also used to pave the way for the illegal exit of those Iranian who sought to migrate. 

Documents and technical equipment including international visas and advanced printers were seized from the gang leader's hideout.  

Mariwan border city is located 120 km from Sanandaj, the capital of Iranian Kurdistan province; the city borders Iraq.
