Tehran (IP) - Iran's Health Ministry announced on Monday that 117 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 139,180.

Iran PressIran news: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to March 15, 2022, 7,130,129 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 6,791,854 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 3,223 cases, of whom 675 were hospitalized.

2,531 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 48,393,373 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 99 cities are red, 186 are orange, 154 are Yellow, and 9 are zones. So far, 63,638,460 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 56,323,487 have received the second dose, 25,347,771 have received the third dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 145,309,718 doses.
