Tehran (IP)- Iran's Foreign Minister said that the Vienna talks to lift the anti-Iran sanctions had not stopped, adding that resolving the remaining issues in the negotiations depended on the will of the US administration.

Iran PressIran news: The eighth round of talks on lifting sanctions in Vienna, which began on February 8, entered a break for the second time on Friday.

Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said in a phone conversation with Oman's Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad al-Busaidi that the Vienna talks had not stopped, but there had been a pause in the talks with the coordination of the EU representative.

Amir Abdollahian said that Iran's chief negotiator is seriously pursuing efforts to reach a good, strong and lasting agreement, adding that Iran is very serious about reaching a good, reliable and lasting agreement.

Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood Albusaidi, Foreign Minister of the Sultanate of Oman, also said his country has always wanted diplomacy to resolve various crises and hopes the agreement between the two countries will be finalized and operational soon.Bin Hamood Albusaidi also expressed hope for a final agreement on the Vienna talks, calling it in the interest of all parties and the region.
