Speaker of Iran's Parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf

Tehran (IP) - The Speaker of Iran's Parliament said that the Israeli regime's assassination of the Iranian commanders in Syria will not be left unanswered.

Iran PressIran News: Colonel Ehsan Karbalipour and Colonel Morteza Saeednejad of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) were martyred because of Israel's recent missile attack on suburbs of Damascus on Monday.

The Israeli fighters periodically carry out strikes on Syria, using Lebanese airspace or Syrian Golan Heights.

The Speaker of the Iranian parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, said on Thursday that such criminals showed the enemy wanted to undermine the Resistance Axis' determination, but it had been failed as usual.

Ghalibaf noted: "Undoubtedly, a heavy punishment is expecting the terrorists for their rude acts; the Axis of Resistance will not leave such crimes unanswered."
