Tehran(IP)- The spokesman of Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs considered the repeated statements of the foreign ministers of the Arab League as an obstacle to strengthening Iran's relations with its neighbors.

Iran PressIran news: Saeed Khatibzadeh, the spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, denied the ridiculous accusations of the 157th meeting of the Arab League Foreign Ministers and the statement of the self-proclaimed quadripartite committee on the sidelines of the meeting. He regretted and called such fruitless actions contrary to the movements of these countries for regional interaction and diplomacy with the Islamic Republic of Iran over the past few months.

The Spokesman of Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs rejected the repeated and baseless allegations claiming that Iran allegedly interfered in the internal affairs of others by countries which themselves are engaged in intervening with a long history of escalating tensions and inciting war, especially in Yemen and the West Asian and North African regions.

Khatibzadeh described the issuance of such repetitive statements as an obstacle to strengthening Iran's relations with its neighbors and reiterated the Islamic Republic of Iran's constant position in inviting its neighbors to dialogue and resolving misunderstandings through diplomatic channels.

The spokesman of Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding the three Iranian islands, rejecting the statement, considered all the actions of the Islamic Republic of Iran within the framework of exercising sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country and condemned the intervention of others in this field.

Khatibzadeh called the preservation and consolidation of the nuclear achievements and defense capabilities of the Islamic Republic of Iran as one of the strategic policies of the country and stressed the ineffectiveness of these statements in the development of the peaceful nuclear industry.
