Tehran(IP): On Wednesday morning, in a special meeting attended by a group of members of the Islamic Consultative Assembly at the Secretariat of the Council, the secretary of the Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) said that The bitter experiences of US indebtedness and European inaction have made it inevitable to meet the requirements of a credible, balanced and lasting agreement.

Iran PressIran News: During this meeting, the lawmakers present at the event were all briefed about the beginning of the new round of talks in the 13th administration, the current progress and challenges, and the main priorities on the agenda of the Iranian negotiating team.

In this meeting,  Rear Admiral Ali Shamkhani, the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of our country, stressed the need to quickly resolve some issues remaining in the negotiations on which no agreement has been reached yet.

"The bitter experiences of US indebtedness and European inaction have made it inevitable to meet the requirements of a credible, balanced and lasting agreement."

 Rear Admiral Shamkhani pointed out: "The main strategy of the country, along with trying to lift sanctions, is to focus on creating mechanisms to neutralize the tools of sanctions, and fortunately, very good measures have been taken in this regard."

The MPs present at the meeting also referred to the fact that Iran has been passing through hurdles and obstacles caused by the oppressive sanctions on Iran's economy and people's livelihood and called on the Iranian negotiating team to continue its practical efforts to restore the nation's lost rights in the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action until the result would be achieved.
