The vice-president of Iran's Judiciary for International Affairs and Secretary of the I.R of Iran's High Council for Human Rights called special rapporteur as a channel for spreading false information about terrorist outfits whose hands are stained with the blood of the Iranian people.

Iran Press/Iran News: The Vice-President of Iran's Judiciary for International Affairs and Secretary of the Islamic Republic of Iran's High Council for Human Rights cited the appointment of a special rapporteur for Iran based on the political desire of a small number of countries as a tool to exercise political pressure.

Escaping to respond its people and the world public opinion, the Western bloc, led by the United States, is one of the biggest human rights violators with a black record in human rights issues and it has been utilizing human rights as a tool in the countries that have opposed to Western domination and questioned it.

The obvious contradiction in the declarative positions and actions of the countries that pursued and approved the anti-Iran resolution in the Human Rights Council is quite obvious, and this trend shows that the West has a political and instrumental approach in dealing with Iran on the issue of human rights.

According to Iran Press, speaking  on the sidelines of the 49th session of the Human Rights Council in Geneva during a meeting with Michel Bachelet, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Kazem Gharibabadi, Vice-President of the Judiciary for International Affairs and Secretary of the I.R of Iran's High Council for Human Rights said that the special rapporteur assigned to Iran, with his untrue reports, has practically become a political tool, and beyond all the rules governing the work of human rights rapporteurs, has entered areas that are fundamentally at odds with his duties.

Gharibabadi added that the Special Rapporteur has become a channel for spreading false information about terrorist outfits whose hands are stained with the blood of the Iranian people; This terrorist outfit is now moving freely in the capitals of the countries that sponsored the report on the appointment of a rapporteur and is working against the Iranian nation.

During the meeting, secretary of the I.R of Iran's High Council for Human Rights presented a petition containing 12,000 signatures of the victims of the Mujahedin-e-Khalq Organizatio's terrorist acts against the members of this terrorist outfit and their actions to the High Commissioner for Human Rights and asked her to take it seriously.

Gharibabadi stressed that the outfit has assassinated more than 17,000 innocent people in Iran and still maintains its terrorist nature, but unfortunately they travel freely in Europe and the United States and plan and direct their terrorist operations.

Vice-President of the Judiciary for International Affairs and Secretary of the I.R of Iran's High Council for Human Rights also stressed the will of the Islamic Republic of Iran to promote human rights, which is derived from the country's constitution and religious standards.

"The government and the judiciary of Iran have taken specific practical and objective measures to promote human rights and are on the agenda and are determined to advance them." He stated.

Kazem Gharibabadi has traveled to Geneva to attend a high-level meeting of the UN Human Rights Council.
