Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Tuesday that 226 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 137,064.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to March 1, 2022, a total number of 7,060,741 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 6,665,702 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 9,312 cases, of whom 1,701 were hospitalized.

4,027 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 47,335,696 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 184 cities are red, 187 are orange, 76 are Yellow, and 1 are blue zones.

So far, 62,903,145 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 55,529,712 have received the second dose, 23,291,860 have received the booster shot, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 141,724,717 doses.
