Tehran (IP) - The government spokesman says that Iran's President's 2-day trip to Qatar is transformative especially for Persian Gulf region.

Iran PressIran news: In response to Iran Press question on Iran's President Ebrahim Raisi's trip to Qatar and its achievements, Ali Bahadori Jahromi noted: "Raisi administration's international interactions are being pursued with the priority given to diplomacy with neighbors on the basis of mutual respect and the principles of dignity, and prudence. "

Bahadori Jahromi added: "Ebrahim Raisi's trip to Qatar has nothing to do with Qatar's role as the mediator between Iran and Saudi Arabia or Vienna talks."

Highlighting the significant potentials between the two countries, Bahadori Jahromi reiterated: "Various agreements were inked between the two sides which covered different issues of cooperation, including trade, sea and air transportation, tourism, health, standard, electricity, culture and education."

Iran's President Ebrahim Raisi arrived in Doha on Monday to participate in a Summit of heads of state of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF).
