Iran's COVID death toll on the rise;

Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Sunday that 242 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 135,040.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to February 20, 2022, on Sunday, 6,942,452 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 6,489,920 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 16,967 cases, of whom 2,315 patients were hospitalized.

4,053 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 46,620,277 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 337 cities are red, 64 are orange, and 47 are zones.

So far, 62,151,678 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 55,100,697 have received the second dose, 22,214,679 have received the third dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 139,467,054 doses.
