Coinciding with the 43rd anniversary of Iran's Islamic Revolution victory, the office of the Iranian trade council was inaugurated at the Iranian Chamber of Commerce in Astrakhan, Russia, in the presence of officials from the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Russian Federation.

Iran PressEurope: At a ceremony for reopening of the office, Hadi Tizhoosh Taban, Head of the Iran-Russia Joint Chamber of Commerce, said the Astrakhan-based Iranian Business Association, which is being re-launched after many years, has delighted traders and merchants.

Mehdi Akuchekian, Iran's Consul-General in Astrakhan, also said that Iranian businessmen living in Astrakhan should unite by forming a trade council and pursue their problems through the council.
