Moscow (IP) - The Iran-Russia trade council meeting was held in Moscow to review solutions to remove obstacles and problems and increase trade relations.

Iran PressEurope: At the meeting, hosted by the Russian Chamber of Commerce on Thursday evening, members of the Iran-Russia Chambers of Commerce shared their views on ways to overcome structural barriers, especially in rail, sea and road transport and efforts to make a significant leap in economic relations.

The Islamic Republic of Iran and Russia, as two neighboring countries, along with the expansion of strategic relations in recent years, are trying to benefit from each other's high trade and economic potential.

Relations between Iran and Russia are currently in the best condition, but the economic ties between Tehran and Moscow, with their high capabilities and capacities, are not at the desired level.

The volume of trade between Iran and Russia is 2 billion and 200 million dollars.
