SNSC Secretary:

Tehran (IP)- According to Iran's Secretary of the National Security Council, the Islamic Republic has three unchangeable options for its interactions with the world.

Iran PressIran News: "Options that are never removed from the table," Ali Shamkhani, secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council (SNSC), tweeted.

"The glorious presence of Iranians in ceremonies in support of the Islamic establishment. Maintaining and strengthening #Iran's peaceful nuclear capacities and defense capabilities. Regional security-making policies of the Islamic Republic."

The rallies on the national holiday of “Bahman 22nd” began at 9:30 am local time across Iran on Friday, attended by people from all walks of life.

People of different strata attended the rallies either on foot or with motorcycles and automobiles, waving flags of Iran and banners in support of the Islamic Republic to mark the 43rd anniversary of the Islamic Revolution’s victory.

The anniversary of the Islamic Revolution is celebrated on February 11 (Bahman 22nd according to the Iranian calendar) every year.

The day commemorates the protests that led to the downfall of the Pahlavi regime and the establishment of the Islamic Revolution by the late Imam Khomeini (may his soul rest in peace).

In a speech on the occasion of the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi said: "Being popular is one of the characteristics of the Islamic Revolution and its supporters are the people."

He stressed: "Iran does not accept domination, does not give up its independence, and is not willing to oppress anyone in the world; these are among the principles and will remain so."

Bahman 22 rally across Iran came as negotiators from Iran and the P4 + 1 group are in Vienna, Austria, to continue talks on lifting oppressive sanctions on Iran.

The US Deputy Secretary of State, Wendy Sherman, called for the resumption of nuclear talks in Vienna.

She added that we support the restart of the Vienna talks and invite Iran to negotiate seriously.

The Islamic Republic of Iran has emphasized that, given that Washington has been a party to the breach of the agreement and the reduction of Tehran's obligations in response to the US illegal action, any steps will be taken by Tehran after the lifting of sanctions.
