Tehran (IP) - Ceremonies commemorating the 43rd anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran have been held across Europe.

Iran PressIran News: On February 1st, 1979, Imam Khomeini, the Founder of the Islamic Revolution, returned to Tehran amidst an enthusiastic welcome from the people after fifteen years of exile.

Ten days after Imam Khomeini's return to Iran, on February 11th, 1979, the Islamic Revolution of Iran born fruit; hence, from February 1st to February 11th, has been named the 10-day Dawn, and every year, special celebrations and ceremonies for the victory of the Islamic Revolution are held during these days, and people hold massive rallies across the country on Bahman 22.

In a commemoration ceremony in London on Thursday night, Mohsen Baharvand, Iran's ambassador to Britain, said: "Iran's revolution under the leadership of Imam Khomeini has now become a symbol of self-confidence."

Anniversary of Iran's revolution in Vienna

The celebration marking the 43rd anniversary of the Islamic Revolution was held in Vienna with the presence of the Iranian delegation participating in the nuclear talks.

Ali Bagheri Kani, Iran's chief negotiator, Abbas Bagherpour Ardakani, Iran's ambassador to Austria, Montazeri, head of the Imam Ali Islamic Center in Vienna, and a number of the Iranian negotiating team, as well as Iranian diplomats, attended the ceremony.

The head of Imam Ali (AS) Islamic Center in Vienna delivered his speech at the ceremony.
