Tehran (IP) - People from all walks of life participate in the 43rd anniversary of the Islamic Revolution victory. However, due to the outbreak of the new Corona strain, the Bahman 22 rallies are held in the motorcade in big cities.

Iran PressIran News: Iranians hold Bahman 22 rallies across the country on the occasion of the 43rd victory anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution.

The rallies began at 09:30 hours local time in about 1,500 Iranian cities and over 3,000 villages.

In the Capital city of Tehran, balloons are to fly in the sky, and the Army parachutists are going to perform shows as part of celebrations to mark the day.

The ceremony is held in the red cities using cars and motorcycles; other towns also have the rally in a limited way while observing all health protocols.

President Ebrahim Raisi is to address the participants of the rallies in Tehran in Imam Khomeini Grand Prayer Grounds (Mosalla).

People of Tehran renew allegiance to Islamic Revolution 

The people of Tehran renewed their allegiance to the Islamic Republic of Iran by attending cars and motorcycle rallies to celebrate the 43rd anniversary of the Islamic Revolution's victory on Feb.11, 2022.

Every year, Azadi Square in Tehran witnesses the active presence of people to hold the Bahman 22 rally.

The necessary planning for holding the rally on the 22nd of Bahman (February 11) was carried out based on the guidelines of the National Task Force for Combating Coronavirus.

Motorcyclists celebrated the 43rd victory anniversary of the Islamic Revolution, holding pictures of Martyr Lt. Gen. Soleimani and Iran's flag in their hands.

Revolutionary anthems are played along the rally route, and the paths leading to Azadi Square are decorated with the flags of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Last year also the people held a rally of vehicles in Tehran's streets, driving cars and motorcycles, due to the COVID pandemic.

On February 1, 1979, Imam Khomeini, the Founder of the Islamic Revolution, returned to Tehran amidst an enthusiastic welcome from the people after fifteen years of exile.

Ten days after Imam Khomeini's return to Iran, on February 11, 1979, the Islamic Revolution of Iran born fruit; hence, from February 1 to February 11, the 10-day Dawn has been named, and every year, special celebrations and ceremonies for the victory of the Islamic Revolution are held during these days, and people hold massive rallies across the country on Bahman 22.
