According to the report, initial images and reports confirm at least one explosion at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Abu Dhabi.
Many police and rescue workers were present at the scene.
Some sources have also announced a state of emergency in Abu Dhabi and the closure of all highways in the city.
The explosions in Abu Dhabi took place while at the same time, Saudi fighter jets bombed the Yemeni capital, Sanaa.
