Observance of Kashmir Solidarity Day at the Pakistan's embassy in Tehran

Tehran (IP) - To commemorate Kashmir Solidarity Day, the Embassy of Pakistan in Tehran organised a seminar today to express support of the Pakistani government and the nation for the Kashmiri people in their struggle against the continued Indian illegal occupation of Jammu & Kashmir.

Iran PressIran news: On the occasion, the messages from the President, Prime Minister, the Foreign Minister, and the Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan of Pakistan were readout. In his remarks, the Ambassador reiterated Pakistan’s call to the world leaders, the international community including the United Nations, and all human rights organizations to urge India to halt the brute use of force against the innocent Kashmiri people and resolve the Kashmir dispute as per the charter of the United Nations and various UNSC Resolutions. The Ambassador thanked the Iranian leadership, civil society, and media persons for their continued support of the Kashmir cause. 

Prominent religious scholar Hujjat-ul-Islam Walmuslimeen Ayatollah Dr. Israfeel Dehqan and Ms. Masoumeh Mehmoodi, senior student from Ferdowsi University, Mashhad, in their speeches, condemned the continuing atrocities and gross human rights violations being committed by the Indian occupation forces in IIJOK.

At the end, a special prayer was held for the alleviation of sufferings of innocent Kashmiris and for their freedom from barbaric and illegal Indian rule.
