Tehran(IP): On the third day of the 40th Fajr Film Festival , the screening of the films called "Layers of Lies" and "The Last Snow" were on the agenda as the festival heats up on new movie productions to grab the audience and cover all different cinematic aspects.

Iran PressIran News: "Layers of Lies" is the first joint Iranian-Finnish action film produced in 2021, directed by Ramin Sohrab and produced by the Finnish company Sonram Productions in collaboration with the Farabi Cinema Foundation.

The movie is about the hero of the Iranian firefighter who faces problems in his life. Ramin Sohrab, the director of this film, plays the role of a firefighter.

In the press conference of this action film, the way the actors played and other things were severely criticized by the experts. This is while Jessica Wolf, Nader Fallah, Kamran Tafti, Majid Saeedi, Arsalan Ghasemi, Venus Conley, Milad Mirzaei are the actors in this action film.

Also another movie called "The Last Snow" was screened among the viewers and analyzed by the experts and actors.

The film, directed by Amir Hossein Asgari and produced by Hassan Mostafavi narrates the life of a Veterinary Physician who lives in Northern Iran.

Amin Hayai,the Iranian prominent actor in a press conference said about the movie that the screenplay was welcomed by all the cast and crew and that's why everybody tried their best in the film.

The 40th Fajr Film Festival is held simultaneously on the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.

Established in 1982, the festival was set to be held under the title of "Fajr International Film Festival" during the Ten-Day Dawn celebrations, which are held every year from February 1 to 11 to commemorate the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution. 

Twenty-two films, made mainly by the new generation of Iranian filmmakers, are competing in the festival, which a new team will organize under its new president Masud Naqqashzadeh.
