Iran Press/ Iran News: On the third day of the Fajr Film Festival, Ali Bahadori-Jahromi was a special guest in front of the media, and photographers took photos of him.
On the sidelines of the visit, the officials of the Fajr Film Festival seized the opportunity. They presented a report on the last few days' activities to the Iranian administration spokesperson.
Bahadori-Jahromi also praised the performance of the officials of the Cinema Organization and the Fajr Film Festival and pointed out that the screening of selected films in the provinces of Iran in the last four years has reduced the focus in the capital and people in other parts of Iran have good access to such festivals, which is commendable.
He noted that the officials of the cinema organization, in places that do not even have a cinema, screen selected films from the Fajr Film Festival in mobile cinemas, which is an example of justice-orientation.
The 40th Fajr Film Festival is held simultaneously on the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.
Established in 1982, the festival was set to be held under the title of "Fajr International Film Festival" during the Ten-Day Dawn celebrations, which are held every year from February 1 to 11 to commemorate the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.
Twenty-two films, made mainly by the new generation of Iranian filmmakers, are competing in the festival, which a new team will organize under its new president Masud Naqqashzadeh.
