Iran PressIran news: With the beginning of the Ten-Day Dawn Celebrations on the occasion of the anniversary of the arrival of Imam Khomeini in Iran, special celebration programs are held all across the Islamic country, one of which is the sound of ship horns in the Persian Gulf.

In addition to the sound of ship horns in the strategic Shahid Rajaei port, the horns in the port of the Iranian island of Bu Musa sounded concurrent with the anniversary of the arrival of Imam Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Republic, in Iran.

The three islands of Bu Musa, Greater Tunb and Lesser Tunb in the Persian Gulf are always an integral part of the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran and are considered strategic areas.

On February 1, 1979, Imam Khomeini entered Islamic Iran amidst the enthusiastic welcome of the people after 15 years of exile.
