Tehran (IP) - Iranian people gathered at the mausoleum of the late founder of the Islamic Republic Imam Khomeini, starting the celebrations marking the 43rd anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.

Iran Press/ Iran news: Tuesday coincides with the return of Imam Khomeini from exile in Paris in 1979, which set off nationwide protests across Iran and resulted in the ouster of the US-backed Pahlavi regime ten days later.
