Iran Press/ Iran news: Tuesday coincides with the return of Imam Khomeini from exile in Paris in 1979, which set off nationwide protests across Iran and resulted in the ouster of the US-backed Pahlavi regime ten days later.
The occasion is commemorated every year with Ten-Day Dawn Celebrations across Iran and other countries by sympathizers of the Islamic Republic.
