Secretary of Iranian Judiciary’s Human Rights Council, Kazem Gharibabadi

Tehran(IP) - Secretary of Iranian Judiciary’s Human Rights Council blasted anti-Iran remarks by the French and German officials over defending Iranian convict.

Iran PressIran News: Reacting to the defense of the French human rights ambassador and the German human rights commissioner against a convict in Iran, Kazem Gharibabadi said that instead of defending a convict, the two French and German officials also should take a stand on the victims of Mojahedin-e-Khalq Organazation MKO in Iran.

Gharibabadi tweeted on Sunday evening: "If the two French and German officials are concerned about human rights, instead of defending a convict, they should also take a stand on the victims of the MKO in Iran, who operate freely in these countries."

He continued: "Really, what is the position of the German commissioner regarding the 15-year ban of Kazem Darabi from visiting his daughter in Germany?"

Kazem Darabi, an Iranian student and businessman, living in Germany, was sentenced to life imprisonment for contribution in the terrorist incident at the German restaurant Mykonos, but after 15 years, a German court could not prove that Darabi was involved in the incident.
