Tehran (IP) - In separate messages, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran congratulated the leader of the nation the Speaker of the National Assembly, and the President of the country on the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Iran and Kazakhstan.

Iran PressIran News: Diplomatic relations between the two countries began on January 29, 1992. The mission of Kazakhstan was set up in the Islamic Republic of Iran in 1993 with a consulate created in 2007 (Gogan). As for Iran, they established an embassy in Kazakhstan in 1992 with two consulates created in 1992 (Aktau) and 2012 (Almaty).

President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ebrahim Raisi, on Saturday in a message to Nursultan Nazarbayev, the chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Kazakhstan, said: "The path of relations between the two countries, with mutual will and efforts, will continue for the welfare of the two nations and to ensure and strengthen regional and international peace and stability."

In another message to the President of Kazakhstan, Qasym Zhomart Tokayev, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran said that the relations between the two countries cover a wide range of issues, resulting in the signing of 114 documents on the development of cooperation, especially in the economic and trade fields.

During its thirty years of diplomatic relations, the Islamic Republic of Iran has considered Kazakhstan a reliable partner in the Central Asian region and the Caspian Sea and has made serious efforts to expand bilateral relations, Raisi added.

Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has been voted chairman of the governing party, replacing his mentor and former head of state Nursultan Nazarbayev.
