Tehran (IP): The 40th day of the martyrdom of Hassan Irloo, the former Iranian Ambassador to Yemen, was commemorated in Tehran.

Iran PressIran News: The 63-year-old Iranian Ambassador to Yemen, Hassan Irlou, returned to Iran due to COVID complications and passed away on December 21, 2021.

On Tuesday, December 21, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh officially confirmed that Hassan Irlou had died of COVID complications.

According to Iran Press News Agency, the 40th day of the martyrdom of Hassan Irlou, the former Iranian Ambassador to Yemen, was held on Wednesday at Imamzadeh Saleh in Tehran.

Martyr Hassan Irlou, a chemical warfare veteran, contracted the coronavirus at his mission to Yemen and returned to the country in unfavorable conditions due to the delayed cooperation of some countries.

Despite using all the treatment steps to improve his condition, this Iranian diplomat was martyred on Tuesday, December 21st.

The 40th day of the martyrdom of Hassan Irlou was attended by Tehran Mayor Alireza Zakani, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh, and other military officials, the families of the martyrs, and the people of different walks of life.
