Kordistan (IP) - Heavy snowfall in Kordistan Province closed the roads of most cities and villages in the province, and after a week, the roads of some villages in the mountainous region of Uramanat are still closed.

Iran PressIran news: Last week, the western and northwestern regions of Iran, including Kurdistan Province, witnessed heavy and unprecedented snowfall in recent years. Due to heavy snowfall, the temperature had fallen, and still some villages in the mountainous and impassable areas in the west and northwest Iran are blocked.

The Red Crescent Society of Kordistan Province has been providing daily necessities using helicopters for the residents of Uramanat villages that are besieged by snow.

Strong winds and cold weather have made it difficult to help the Red Crescent Society in Kordistan Province, which is trying to deliver food packages to residents of the snow-capped villages.

Uramanat mountainous region, with the stepped architecture of its villages, is a pristine tourist attraction in Kordestan Province, and along with all the hardships of heavy snowfall, the snowy landscape has become very spectacular.
