Sanandaj (IP) - The Uramanat (or Hawraman) Cultural Landscape was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List as the 26th tangible cultural heritage of Iran at the 44th session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee.

Iran PressIran news: The global registration of Uramanat Cultural Landscape located in Kermanshah and Kurdistan provinces was done on Tuesday. 

The file was sent to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) last year in 2020.

Hawraman or Uraman is the name of a historical region with a stepped texture and exceptional customs.

The area includes parts of Sarvabad, Sanandaj, and Kamyaran cities in Kurdistan province and Ravansar, Paveh, Javanroud, and Thalas Babajani cities in Kermanshah province in western Iran.
