Iran logs 20 COVID deaths in 24 hrs

Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Thursday that 20 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 132,152.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to January 20, 2022, 6,236,567 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 6,073,412 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 4,658 cases, of whom 345 patients were hospitalized.

1,247 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 43,773,358 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

So far, 60,435,003 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 53,420,305 have received the second dose, 13,832,500 have received the third dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 127,687,808 doses.
