Washington (IP) - US President Joe Biden said on Wednesday that it is "not time to give up" on talks with Iran regarding the revival of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).

Iran PressAmerica: "It's not time to give up," Biden said at a press conference to mark his first year in the White House.

"There is some progress being made," he added.

"P5+1 are on the same page, but it remains to be seen," Biden said in reference to the nations taking part in the negotiations in Vienna."

The eighth round of talks on lifting the sanctions began on Monday, December 26, 2021, with experts expressing happiness over the "progressive trend of negotiations."
