Tehran (IP) – Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman said that the Iran-China 25-year memorandum of understanding is a long-term road map that defines two countries’ cooperation.

Iran PressIran News: Attending his weekly press briefing and responding to Iran Press on Monday, Saeed Khatibzadeh stated that Iran-China's 25-year MoU focuses on improving bilateral relations.

"During the last five months the MoU has been revised and various ministries have worked on it," he noted.

Referring to Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Adollahian's trip to China, Khatibzadeh said that the two sides decided to put the MoU into operation after lengthy discussions.

He highlighted that the MoU would be put into operation in various economic, political, cultural, and parliamentarian sections.
