Tehran (IP) - president of the Tehran University of Medical Sciences, announced that the university would open a branch in Karbala within the next week.

Iran PressIran news: According to Iran Press News Agency, Hossein Qana'ati in his press conference in the Ministry of Health and Medical on Saturday, said that the educational management of Al-Sibtain Medical University in Karbala, which belongs to Atabeh Husseini, has been submitted to Tehran University of Medical Sciences for 50 years.

The Tehran University of Medical Sciences president added: "Professors from Iraq and Iran will teach at the university, which will have 1,000 students, and virtual education will also be on the agenda."

Hossein Qanati had previously said that 50 medical students, 50 nursing students, and 50 physiotherapy students would be accepted at the beginning of the university's activity.
