Tehran (IP)- The head of the University of Tehran expressed hope that a new chapter of scientific relations and joint research activities will be formed between the University of Tehran and the universities of Romania.

Iran PressIran news: Mohammad Moghimi, the head of the University of Tehran, said on Monday during a meeting with  Mirella Carmen Greco, the Romanian ambassador in Tehran: "The University of Tehran is ready to expand scientific and cultural relations with Romania."

The Romanian ambassador in Tehran also said: "The Romanians know Iran well. Therefore, if Romanian students become aware of the capacities and facilities of the University of Tehran, this great university can be their destination for study, especially in fields such as archeology, architecture, and also Persian literature."

Mohammad Marandi, Vice Chancellor for International Affairs of the University of Tehran, who attended the meeting, also emphasized holding joint virtual conferences between the University of Tehran and Romanian universities in various specialized fields and paving the way for introducing the capacities of the University of Tehran in that country."
