Iran transits more than $ 5 billion of goods by Bashmaq customs

Marivan (IP) - More than five billion dollars of goods were transited through the Bashmaq customs of Marivan, Kurdistan Province of Iran, in the last nine months.

Iran PressIran News: Khalil Heydari, the supervisor of Iranian Kurdistan Customs, stated: "In the last nine months, 2 million 479 thousand 192 tons of goods were transited through the Bashmaq border of Marivan, which shows an increase of 116 percent compared to the same period last year."

Heydari announced the dollar value of the number of goods transited in the last nine months in the province of Kurdistan as 5 billion 337 million 374 thousand dollars and added: "In terms of dollar value, the transit of goods in the last nine months compared to the same period the previous year has grown by 87%."

Bashmaq Marivan Customs is the only transit border of Kurdistan Province of Iran where domestic and foreign transit of origin and foreign transit of destination is done.
