Tehran (IP): The spokesman for Iran's Customs Administration said the Islamic Republic of Iran had exported goods to 142 countries in the past seven months.

Iran PressIran news: "Since the beginning of this year in Iranian calendar (Starting from March 21,2021), Iran has exchanged about 99 million tons of goods worth approximately $ 55 billion with other countries," said Ruhollah Latifi, Iran's Customs Administration Spokesman.

Regarding the export destinations of Iranian goods, he said: "China, Iraq, Turkey, UAE and Afghanistan were the top five destinations for Iranian goods in the last seven months."

Increasing non-oil exports to the neighboring countries is one of the major plans the Iranian government has pursued in recent years.

Iran shares land and water borders with 15 countries, namely UAE, Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan Republic, Bahrain, Iraq, Kuwait, Kazakhstan, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Russia, Turkey, Turkmenistan, and Saudi Arabia.
