Beijing (IP): Iran's foreign minister said that strategic issues are on the agenda of Iran and China, and these issues have created new literature of the correspondence between the presidents of the two countries.

Iran PressAsia: Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, referring to the expansion of Iran-China relations in recent months, said: "In the last four months, for more than seven times, contacts and meetings were held between the Chinese Foreign Minister and I. The presidents also have very smooth contacts and communications, which shows the importance and growth and development of relations between the two countries."

"In the new administration, we are facing more acceleration of relations," he said. "In bilateral relations, we enjoy good coordination and diversity in various issues, and we have made great progress in various issues to the interests of both sides."

According to the report, upon arrival at Wushu Airport, Amir-Abdollahian announced the purpose of his visit to China to discuss with Chinese officials on enhancing bilateral political relations, as well as the implementation of the agreements between the Islamic Republic of Iran and China on economic cooperation.

Heading of a high-level political and economic delegation, Iran's foreign minister left Iran for China at the official invitation of Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and is scheduled to meet with his Chinese counterpart on Friday, on various bilateral and international issues, including the latest developments including as well as considering the 25-year cooperation between the two countries.
