Iran Press/ Middle East: Hisham Sharaf stated that everyone is trying to forget Iran's initiative, which has addressed the issue of war, the siege of Yemen, and the negotiation mechanism, according to Al Mayadeen news channel.
He also referred to Saudi Arabia's all-out attacks on Yemen, saying that the Saudis were seeking to justify their aggression, but that they had not been able to defeat the Yemenis, and that it was appropriate to speak in the language of peace.
Earlier, Maj. Gen. Khaled Ghorab, senior Yemeni military, and strategic affairs expert, stressed that there was no real practical initiative except those of Iran or the National Salvation Government in Sana'a to resolve the crisis.
Since the beginning of the Yemeni crisis and the invasion of that country by Saudi Arabia and the UAE, Iran has called for an end to the attacks, a nationwide ceasefire, the lifting of the siege and sanctions on Yemen, and the start of political talks between the Yemenis and handing over power to them.
