Iran Press/ Middle East: Iran's Mahdi Sobhani met with Bouthaina Shaaban, where media and research cooperation of the two countries was discussed.
Also, Sobhani invited the Syrian President's senior political and media adviser to visit the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Shaaban, for her part, stressed the importance of bilateral relations, especially in research and media fields, and expressed hope that she would travel to Iran at the appropriate time.
Shaaban is one of the most experienced officials of the Syrian government. She read the message of the Syrian President last week at the commemoration ceremony of Lt. General. Qassem Soleimani in Damascus.
