Tehran (IP) - Iran's President said that Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani is not a person; he is a school, and this school is not destroyed by terror or missiles; the school stays; the school survives.

Iran PressIran news: Delivering a speech at the second martyrdom anniversary of Lt. Gen. Qassem Soleimani on Monday, Ebrahim Raisi said that that Martyr Soleimani is introduced not as just a person but as a culture, the way and the school; he is an eternal school that would never demise through assassination.

Raisi stressed: "If a person's existential personality develops, he is no longer just a real person, but has an existential development, which is referred to as a nation and an ummah."

Raisi added: "By following the verses of the (Holy) Qur'an and the teachings of the Ahl al-Bayt, Martyr Soleimani has acquired an existential scope; he is not a person, he is a school, and this school is not destroyed by terror or missiles. The school stays, the school survives".

He noted that Lt. Gen. Soleimani was a hero defending the oppressed and Islamic Ummah, and addressed the US: "I tell the US that you assassinated all nations by murdering Qassem Soleimani."

US former President Donald Trump and US former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo should be brought to justice, else they must await hard revenge, Iran's President Ebrahim Raisi said.

Martyr Qassem Soleimani was a deep culture as well; he helped young Afghans to defend their country, added the president.

Raisi further said Lt. Gen. Soleimani helped Hezbollah to become an international axis, and encouraged all young people to defend their territories, noting: " We believe that Qassem Soleimani's will should be more evident and applicable."

"Martyr Qassem Soleimani was a true soldier and obedient to the Leader of Iran's Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and late Imam Khomeini, a revolutionary man, with a brave heart, who always stood in the front line to fight against enemies. He was a man of truth; he was a man of love for God and sincerity." Ebrahim Raisi stressed.

Raisi emphasised: "Lt. Gen. Soleimani deeply believed that the United States cannot do a damn thing against us. He deeply believed that excuses such as "it is not possible", "can we?", "there are obstacles" and "we must somehow compromise" were not in his logic."

The Iranian President said: "Martyr Soleimani acted as a school and a lofty ideal; he was a commander; he was a general, he was a military figure, but he should not be seen only as a high-ranking military figure; he had a culture."

Stressing that Lt. Gen. Soleimani sought to solve the problems of the people and the families of the martyrs, President Raisi said: "Martyr Soleimani was a powerful and a field diplomat who excelled in both areas".

The second martyrdom anniversary of Lt. Gen. Qassem Soleimani and his companions was held on Monday, January 3, 2022, at Mosalla of Tehran in the presence of the people and officials to commemorate the international hero of the fight against terrorism.

On January 3, 2020, the US assassinated Lt. Gen. Soleimani, the former commander of the Quds Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC), Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, the former Deputy Commander of Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Units (PMU), and their companions at Baghdad International Airport.
