Kabul (IP) - The deputy head of the Council of Shia Scholars in Afghanistan, said that the martyr Lt. Gen. Qassem Soleimani was opposed to American colonial and predatory influence and authority in the region and that was why he was not unbearable for the US.

Iran PressAsia: On the occasion of the second anniversary of the martyrdom of General Qassem Soleimani, Ustad Muhammad Akbari stated in an interview with Iran Press in Kabul that Martyr Soleimani wanted the nations of the region to live with dignity under the aegis of Islam and be free from the domination of global arrogance.

The deputy head of the Council of Shia Scholars in Afghanistan said that the martyrdom of Lt. Gen. Soleimani was unbearable for the United States because he opposed US domination in the region and fought against it and called on others to resist.

Ustad Mohammad Akbari said that anyone who stands up to US hegemony and its arrogant policies will not be tolerated by the US, and as a result, Lt. Gen. Soleimani was martyred while defending Islam and Muslims.

Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani, the senior commander of the Resistance Front, was martyred on January 3, 2020, at the behest of the then US administration, in a US drone strike while on a trip to Baghdad airport with his allies.
