Iran logs 53 COVID deaths in 24 hrs

Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Tuesday that 53 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 131,527.

Iran PressIran news: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to December 29, 2021, a total number of 6,032,615 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 6,032,615 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 1,905 cases, of whom 348 patients were hospitalized.

2,732 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 41,791,485 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

So far, 59,716,661 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 51,683,120 have received the second dose, 7,135,283 have received the third dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 118,535,064 doses.
