ITI corridor train enters south east Iran

Tehran (IP) - With the aim of developing international rail transport, Islamabad-Tehran-Istanbul (ITI) freight train arrived in Zahedan, the capital of Iran's Sistan and Baluchestan province on Sunday.

Iran PressIran news: The ITI corridor train started its journey from Islamabad to Zahedan railway station on December 20, in the presence of high-ranking officials of Pakistan and the ambassadors of Iran, Turkey, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan.

The Islamabad-Tehran-Istanbul railway corridor which connects Iran, Pakistan, and Turkey was inaugurated on Tuesday and resumed its activity after a 10-year gap.
