Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Friday that 44 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 131,306.

Iran PressIran news: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to December 24, 2021, 6,181,784 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 6,022,150 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 1,967 cases, of whom 321 patients were hospitalized.

2,796 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 41,286,279 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, no cities are red or orange, 53 are yellow, and 395 are blue zones.

So far, 59,418,571 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 50,985,397 have received the second dose, 5,188,836 have received the third dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 115,592,804 doses.
